I thoroughly recommend Gary! Having worked with several personal trainers before, one of the things I most appreciate is that he varies the format of the session EVERY week. Historically, I’d rather get my exercise through team sport, but as the latter is hard to do with a young-ish family training with Gary has been much more enjoyable than i expected. Not only do the sessions vary every week, he’s personable, happy to adapt the training as requested, sensibly priced, reliable yet also flexible when ‘life happens’. He does 1:1 & joint sessions for my husband and comes to our home... which massively helps me make time for fitness... which is a priority for me, yet I know would immediately slip off my agenda if Gary didn’t make it so straightforward!!

When it comes to fitness, you need motivation to succeed, this is where Gary is first class. My personal journey needed to start, i'd joined the gym, went and did 'stuff' and didn't really feel it worked out. I spent a few months with Gary, he not only designed a program for me, he understood the goals, helped shape the mile stones and effectively took the role of mentor and motivator. I guess the best endorsement I can give is now, a year on, most of Gary's program is still being used and when I see Gary he's always happy to stop, talk, discuss what's happening even now that I am self sufficient. A top bloke with unbelievable knowledge of people and fitness. If you need that kick start, he's your man. Thank you Gary for getting me going.

It’s the first time I’ve used a PT instructor and I met with a number of instructors before choosing Gary, and this has proven to be the right choice. He takes time to understand you as a person and what you are looking to achieve and over what period. The sessions are structured and tough but he doesn’t try and push you too far. The sessions vary each week, which makes a real difference as you never know what you are going to do week to week, but you also don’t get bored of the same routine. As I’ve continued to train outside of my weekly PT sessions, Gary has adapted my weekly sessions to accommodate the additional work I’ve done. He’s good at explaining each routine and showing me what I need to do. He motivates you well, but without being too overbearing in his approach. I’ve also had a couple of minor strains and has adapted the sessions accordingly, but is also extremely knowledgeable about the body and the impact the training is having. If you are looking for a PT instructor who’s engaging, knowledgeable and reasonably priced then Gary’s your man
